Some of y'all may recognize my forum handle from different sites around the internet such as DakkaDakka, Bolter and Chainsword, 40k Radio, and a few others.
History:
I've been into wargaming for almost 13 years now, and its become pretty much my number 1 hobby. During that time I've aquired ALOT of models and although I've sold off a few through the years I've still got way to many.
Purpose:
This blog was created to document my journey trough painting my backlog and any other crazy things that come along. I also want to keep myself focused on the goal of getting this stuff finished. One of my New Year's resolutions is to not purchase any more models and so far I've been doing just that. I've set the lofty goal of joining the ranks of Dakka's 520 club (those people who have painted 520 models in one year) and hopefully I can reach this goal.
I may occassionally go off on rants about things in the hobby world but I'll try to keep them short and far between.
I'd also like to make some tutorials on things that I've been able to accomplish in my hobby so others may learn from it.

Some of my paitned Ultramarines:

I've painted alot more since I started that article but I haven't updated it. As you can tell from the article I don't really like exposed flesh on Space Marines. This is something you'll see alot.
Some of my painted Tyranids:

Ive got a few more models assembled since I started the article but no real painting.
My Inquisition:

The only thing I've done to them is strip the Deathwatch kill team since they're useless.
My 4 warhound titan blog:

I've really kind of retired the titans. After a few mega games some people (who didn't play) raised enough stink that they're not really welcome back on the tables again.
Recent work:
If you're interested in stuff I've accomplished lately.
Lets start with a model I finished a little over a month ago, but still need to do his base. The master of the Ultrawing! As some of you know I have a thing for cool diorama bases so I figured the coolest thing for this guy would be a renactment of Red Dawn:

Bike close-ups

The masters of the Chapter, finished up 2 months ago:

I've still got to bits order the commander eagle headed backpacks for them but other than that and basing they're done.Remember no screaming bald guys in my army. Marines wear helmets for a reason!
A terminator Librarian, finished 2 months ago:

A few weeks ago I painted up 9 Devestator marines in 4 days!
All 9:

Sarge and bolter with flash:

Sarge and bolter without flash:

Ammo Carriers:

Headless guy and bolter guy (I didn't notce this model was headless until I went to paint his lenses and I noticed he was missing a head!):

2 Heavy bolters and a bolter guy

I picked up a Gale Force 9 ten model skirimsh tray and I noticed my old magnetized bases don't fit into it. So I decided to cut all the old bases off my models and glue new bases onto them (I'll paint and flock them later).
Here they are:

The rebased average bolter marines:

I have finished a few more models since these photos were taken and I should be getting some decent pics later.
*edit* Well as this is my first post I haven't really figured out how to use blogger quite yet.
